i wrote a song.

In your eyes I can see
That you’ve forgotten how to be
Lost all sense and sensibility
Lost the concept of I, myself, and me

That you feel like a water droplet in the sea
Your world is sideways and can no longer see
The straightest way and the place you belong
And I’m here to hold your hand and take you home

You must realize that something’s happening to you
That life has not forgotten you
That it holds you in its hand and will not let you fall

Whispers in your ear and comes running when you call
Its time for you to lift your eyes off the ground
The bold and the beautiful have been sought and finally found

What if you could make a space
Full of light and to your taste
Windows big and flowers sweet
The ground is warm beneath your feet

You’re weaving love into the loom you work
You pause to watch the wind and listen to the birds
Though everything is perfect under your perception
How painful it must be to be an exception
